As Halloween fast approaches, children all over the world are rushing out to find the perfect costume for the dress-up night of the year. While many costumes for adults veer towards the more daring realm, one company is being blasted for selling a costume for kids that enter the same territory. What’s more, the company in question is Party Pieces, which is run by the parents of Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge.
The look in question is called the “Midnight Mischief” costume and it is manufactured for girls from the ages of four to six. It features a mini skirt, lined with tulle, bustier top, over-the-elbow gloves, and spider-web patterned tights. According to an article in The Daily Mail, more than 98% of all users on the parenting website ChannelMum.com have posted in the comments section that they would not allow their children to wear a costume such as this one.
